Jesus, I am resting in the joy of what thou art. I am finding out the greatness of Thy loving heart.
Yesterday Lord, I tore my thumb on a big thorn, it hurt and wouldn't stop bleeding.
It immediately took me to the cross and the crown of thorns pressed on your head. More pain on top of all that you were already experiencing.
I can't get it out of my head, your willingness to go through all this to save us, to save me
It brought the question," what do we do for You?"
All too often our minds are elsewhere, not on what has been done for us, or what YOU want of us.
You love us so much and our love is so weak.
'O the love that drew salvations plan, O the grace that brought it down to man."
O.the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary.
Thank you Jesus!
Lord, as we think of all that You have done, help us to serve you the way you want us to.
Reveal to us areas of our lives that we should be giving to others right now. Open our eyes to see the need.. Give us generous hearts.
Help us to be good stewards of the blessings you have given us, by sharing with others.
Show us who you want us to extend our hands to at this time
Fill us with YOUR love, for all people. Use us to touch the lives of others.
1John 3 v 16, says " we know what real love is because Christ gave up His life for us, and so we ought to give up our lives for our Christian brothers and sisters.
Having true love means being willing to make sacrifices for the ones we love, thus expressing our true love for God, THANK YOU LORD.
