Harvest 2020
As usual – good to know something is ‘usual’! – this year we are supporting the BMS World Mission Harvest Appeal. Mark will focus on this on Sunday 18th October. The Appeal this year is for Operation Chad. On the website it says this:
“You can make a difference. You can save a life. You can bring someone to Jesus.
Most of us don’t get the opportunity to perform life-saving operations or deliver babies in our day-to-day lives. But when your church supports BMS World Mission’s Operation: Chad appeal, that’s exactly what you’ll be making possible.
You’ll be enabling BMS-supported medical workers to stitch-up gunshot wounds, remove cancers, heal malnourished children, and preach the gospel of Jesus to people who’ve never heard it before. “
The Appeal is supporting the work of Guinebor II hospital.
There will be envelopes in church, or you may have one delivered. It can be returned to church or sent to John. If you wish you can visit the website here:
