When I woke on Friday morning this song was in my head and stayed.
" God is still on the throne and He will remember His own;
Though trials may press us and burdens distress us He never will leave us alone
No! Never alone, no never alone!"
I got up and my text for the day was: " There is a Friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24.
The day proved to be a an unexpected trial and those words were needed. How we need to have our ears open to the word.
